Welcome To the heart of PEC!

Picton, Ontario

I adore Picton and everything it has to offer.

Located in the heart of Prince Edward County, Picton is only minutes away from everything you need. Proudly hosting the sites to many breweries, wineries, cideries and delicious restaurants.
Fun fact: The town is named after Sir Thomas Picton, who was a British officer that died in the Battle of Waterloo in 1815 (Canadian Encyclopedia). As well, Picton is the administration centre for the County.

5 Reasons You'll LOVE it:

  1. Centrally located to wineries, breweries, events, and more! You’re right in the heart of PEC.
  2. Stores in the downtown are unique and offer a variety of different shopping stops.
  3. Century homes and buildings are rich with history, there are many heritage buildings in the downtown core.
  4. Restaurants are top notch – some of my faves can be seen below!
  5. And because you’re steps from our office at 252 Picton Main St, pop in and say hi!

5 Things to be aware of:

  1. Given the age and authenticity of some of the century homes, there are some homes that come with a lot of qwerks in their history
  2. While tourism is incredible for the economy, driving downtown (or finding parking) in the summer can be difficult
  3. If you’re looking for a big box discount store, you’re looking at a drive to Belleville, Napanee, Trenton or Kingston.
  4. Keep an eye on your favourite store hours, there are some stores that close on certain days!
  5. When coming up Bridge St, these cars have the right of way – Main St has to stop.
